Washington Court Records
The Washington court records can be obtained by the general public but only after submitting a written request. The court records are maintained by the individual courts of each jurisdiction.
Access to the court cases in Washington are granted to all residents during normal business hours.
The decision whether to approve a request to obtain court records come from the county clerk of the respective court house. If the county clerk denies the application, the requester will receive a written notice on the matter. The requester will also receive notice in the case their court record request was partially denied. A small fee is usually required before the request can be fulfilled.
